What is Chronic Wound?
A chronic wound is defined as a wound that fails to progress through the normal phases of healing within expected timeframes, typically remaining stagnant for more than 3 months. Common types include diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, arterial ulcers, and pressure injuries.
