What is Hearing Loss?
Hearing loss is a partial or complete inability to hear sounds. It can range from mild difficulty understanding speech to profound deafness. The ear consists of three main parts: the outer ear captures sound waves, the middle ear amplifies them, and the inner ear converts them to electrical signals that the brain interprets.
